At Birch Floor Screeding we take Health & Safety very seriously. We employ external advisors to help aid us comply with all of the latest Health & Safety Regulations. Prior to commencing on site we will provide all the necessary method statements, risk assessments and COSHH certificates as required. We can also provide a copy of our Company Health & Safety Policy upon request. Birch Screeding strive to ensure all of its operatives hold a CITB CSCS Health & Safety Card and have fully understood every aspect of our Company policies.
It is part of Birch Floor Screeding’s policy to ensure that all work is performed in the safest practicable manner, consistent with good practise. The health & safety of our operatives & employees and all those likely to be affected by our operations is the responsibility of our site supervision, and as a priority, it ranks above production and profit. Adequate resources will always be made available to ensure that these guidelines are adhered to.
All of our operatives & employees are aware that, in the event of any conflict between the demands of production and safety, they will receive supervision support if they reasonably choose the safety of employees or third parties as a priority.
It is our policy to take all reasonably practicable steps to adhere completey to the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974; the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999; the Construction Design Management Regulations 1994; the Construction Regulations and all Acts, Regulations, Approved codes of Practice and Health & Safety Executive Guidance Notes made under the Acts, which affect our operations.
